Support for Beau's Critical Surgery
Donation protected
Hi friends, family, and kind strangers.
If you know me, you know my dog Beau means the world to me and my family. For the last 6 months, we’ve been battling with Beau's health, which was diagnosed as allergies. On August 15th around 9pm, Beau had an episode of gagging, wheezing, gasping for air, and was growing weak. We rushed him to an emergency vet where he was put under sedation to check for obstruction. After further examination, we were told he would need a CT scan to confirm a diagnosis. Beau has always been a big chewer. It looks like Beau chewed some sort of stick months ago. The stick splintered and embedded itself into my boy's esophagus. The wound caused an abscess which is making it hard for Beau to breathe and caused necrotic tissue around his throat from six months of coughing. He needs surgery as soon as possible to drain the abscess before it completely blocks his air way and remove the splinter from his esophagus.
After just having a baby 3 months ago, we are not financially able to get Beau this type of care, and it is the last thing we expected. If you can, please consider donating to help us save our boy. He’s only four years old and full of life before all of this
