Support for Beatriz Oh's Mission to Recovery
Donation protected
Beatriz Oh is 22 & from Marietta, GA. She is my younger sister and a bubbly art student at Kennesaw University. A month and a half ago during peak quarantine she fell down the stairs causing her to be concussed. A week went by and Bia was acting very strange and unlike herself. When taken to the E.R, only the patient is allowed inside due to the pandemic.
With no information for days on end, we (Bia’s immediate family) were finally told that Bia was having hallucinations and she was transferred to a mental institution, where she was held for 6 days. After returning home, nothing had improved.
In the weeks following, she visited both a neurologist and therapist that couldn’t accurately diagnose her. Recently, she suffered a psychotic episode causing her to break both legs and return to the hospital. She will require many specialists and many hours clocked in to monitor her mental health as well as her physical health.
We (Bia’s immediate family) are already struggling to pay for the medical bills and we are only at the beginning of her journey. With a heavy heart, we are now asking you for your help. We are asking for donations to continue taking care of Bia, which includes a specialty concussion neurologist, therapist, and special items such as a wheelchair. We also need help paying for our already accrued 20,000 debt into this cause that includes ambulances, insurance and residency at the mental institution. I know we are asking for a lot but anything anyone can donate is helpful as we won’t be able to work as much during this time.
We also have a family owned business, Salt Way (salt-way.com) where we sell handmade, natural, vegan bath & body products. We would appreciate support for our business as another source of income to pay for her treatment.
We appreciate and thank anyone that is able to help us during this difficult time. Sending all the love
