Support for Beatriz and her family

Hello all,

My name is Natalia, and I am Betty’s goddaughter. In these 17 years of friendship, a very important and special bond was created between Betty’s family and my family. She considered my mom her sister and she considered myself and my brother like her other kids. She met my brother and I since we were children, and from day one, we instantly became a family.

For those that know Betty, you know that she has been bravely battling Stage 4 cancer for the last 3 years. It has been the toughest battle for her, and she is one of the strongest people I know, she is a warrior. Although she fought with everything she had and continues to fight, the cancer unfortunately is just too aggressive, and she has now been diagnosed to have terminal cancer and is receiving palliative care.

Betty always made It her life mission to help others and put others first before herself. Despite being sick herself or going through a tough time she always had words of encouragement and maintained a positive attitude. She loved to cook, she always enjoyed making lots of food and inviting her friend to share her creations and to share her a bit of her culture and her passion for family and friends time.

I am creating this go-fund to help financially support Betty’s husband Javier and their 2 daughters Claudia and Andrea so they can dedicate and focus their time to being with Betty and not over stress about anything else except being with her. The funds would go to planning for a funeral and such for when the time comes.

Betty has touched the lives of many of us and I’m sure that she has been someone special for a lot of us. Let us all gather and provide her the encouragement, support, love, and prayers that Betty has always provided for everyone.
