Hi, my name is Chase Beal-Sharp and my wife’s name is Madeline. On January 17th, 2025, we welcomed our son Brooks into the world. My wife was supposed to have a scheduled C-section on the 24th, but on the 17th, she started showing signs of labor, so they did it then. She had high blood pressure right before the C-section and afterwards was diagnosed with post-eclampsia because of her high blood pressure and had to be put on a mag drip overnight to prevent seizures or organ damage. We stayed in the hospital for three nights and four days and then got discharged. My wife had to be put on a bunch of medications after discharge and they interacted with her migraine medication and has made recovery hard for her.
The same night we got discharged, we had to go back to the ER for our son for hypothermia. After spending six nights total in the hospital, we were exhausted and neither of us have been able to work. My wife is recovering from her C-section, plus she has a chronic illness, and any help would be greatly appreciated.
