Support For My Sisters Family After Tragedy

My name is Andrea Guglielmo. I am starting this GoFundMe for my sister Barb and her family, who have shown incredible strength in the face of a horrific event. My sister, her husband, her children, and her five grandchildren have been through an unimaginable ordeal on February 6th, 2025. While they were gathered eating dinner, they started to smell smoke, and the entire upstairs of their home was engulfed in flames. Despite the chaos, they all made it out safely, thanks to their quick thinking and the bravery of the firefighters. Barb and her son were able to carry out their two dogs, but were unable to reach their beloved cats that were on the top floor. Barb’s son tried to get to the top floor to save them, but was unable to.Their cats perished in the fire. May they rest in peace.

The grandchildren range in age from 5-9. These children ran out without coats or shoes. The one little girl screamed, “all my memories are in there”. They were all hysterical. Such a terrible thing for children to witness- an image of their home burning - something that none of them will ever be able to forget.

My sister and her family have lost absolutely everything, but their love for each other will carry them through this difficult time. They need our help to get back on their feet, and I am reaching out to ask for your support. Your donation will help them secure the necessities, including clothes, shoes, and backpacks for the kids, as well as asthma machines for my sister and her grandson.
