My name is Barbara. My husband and I are facing eviction in Florida because our landlord is selling our house. We are both elderly and physically disabled. My husband has suffered four major strokes as a result of aFib, and I have severe arthritis and heart issues of my own. We are the sole caretakers of our disabled son, who also lives at home.

As you may know, the cost of living in Florida is ridiculous, but we have nowhere else to go. We can't afford to leave the state, as the cost of moving alone is prohibitive. Any donation we receive will go towards moving costs such as a moving truck, gas, and rent deposit. Anything more will go towards the possibility of renting somewhere that isn't as expensive, as we would have the money to actually move there.
