Support for Barbara Clifford’s Recovery
Donation protected
UPDATE: Barbara is out of the ICU and receiving continued care at the hospital. Her surgery was successful but continues to fight her way out of the hospital. We know she is strong and will be able to go home soon! Thank you for the continued donations, it means a lot to my mom and our family.
Our mom, Barbara Clifford, was admitted to Westchester Medical Hospital today and is undergoing open-heart surgery. She’s currently surrounded by loved ones who are holding her close through this difficult time.
Barbara will be out of work for at least 12 weeks as she recovers. We’re raising funds to help cover her medical expenses and aftercare. Any amount — big or small — would mean the world to her and to our family.
If you know Barbara, you know she’s a jokester, a fighter, and someone who lights up every room she walks into. She’s overcome so much in life, and we know she’ll get through this too — with a little help from all of us.
Barbara has been a proud, long-standing member of Local 52. She’s always the first to show up for others — whether it’s supporting friends and family or lending a hand to coworkers. Now, it’s our turn to help show up for her.
If you can’t give right now, please consider sharing to help us reach more people. Your kindness and support mean everything.
Thank you for all your support.
