My name is Brandon Lowe and My mom, Barbara Sizemore, had a stroke a little over a week ago and currently has no use of the right side of her body. She’s been moved from the hospital to Encompass Health for rehabilitation so she can start working toward recovery.

Our rent and utilities are covered through HUD and assistance programs. While she’s in rehab, the additional assistance programs pause, which means there’s temporarily no income coming into the house. I’m doing everything I can to keep things stable so she still has a home to come back to, but it’s been hard finding time to work while going back and forth to be with her.

I’m not looking for a handout — if anyone is willing to help, I’d truly appreciate it, and just know I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER that you were there for me in my time of need and I will do my best to help give back any way I can. If you can’t give anything, that’s ok too, prayers and sharing this post mean just as much to us.
