Hello friends and family. My name is Bailey Gonzalez and my sister Eliotte and I have recently lost our amazing father, Daniel Gonzalez (aged 51).

He found his final peace on Saturday, August 16th, 2025. He fought gastric cancer over the last two and a half years courageously with a grit and grace that those of us by his side admired with steadfast resolve. A pillar of the Gonzalez family, our dad was the unwavering source of structure, stability, and love for his family whose values and attributes will carry on for generations to come.

Growing up, our dad was the most present, loving, energetic, hilarious person two little girls could ever ask to be their daddy. He was supportive and excited about anything we set our hearts to and brought an irreplaceable magic and passion to our lives and the lives of anyone he met along his path. Dad always looked for opportunities and experiences to better himself at any stage, and took to literature such as 'Tao Te Ching', 'The Book of Awakening', and 'The Four Agreements' to guide his mind and soul.

My dad remains one of the kindest souls I have ever had the fortune of meeting. Eliotte and I are so lucky we got to have him as our loving father. He was an attentive listener, gifted musician, loving family man, devoted partner, talented massage therapist, true friend, and over-all miraculous human being with so much love, wisdom, and laughter to give to this world.

As these life changes progress without our father, our family is beginning to make arrangements and take on the end of life expenses necessary for making our peace with his loss. As some of you may know, the trials of paying off medical expenses and planning the logistics of a new life without a loved one is almost unbearable. Any help to ease the weight in our hearts and minds would be appreciated beyond words.

We received so much love and support during his journey and for that we are forever grateful. My dad was deeply moved by everyone's contribution to his fight. As his family, we remain contented by the support we felt and continue to feel these years later.
