Hi, my name is Leyla and I’m raising funds for my childhood friend in Africa who gave birth by C-section two weeks ago. She is in pain and recovering from surgery, and her newborn was born with a serious medical condition that doctors say needs surgery before the baby reaches one month old.

She has no financial support and very limited access to medical care. The funds raised will help with the baby’s urgent surgery, medical visits, medications, transportation to the hospital, and basic needs for both mom and baby.
