On Jan 30th at 12:59pm, Jr and I welcomed our final puzzle to our family and Xavier Michael Rose blessed us with his perfect self. Xavier was diagnosed with T21 (Down Syndrome). Since Xaviers birth he has shown us how hard of a fighter he is and any obstacle he won't over come him.

Unfortunately no matter how hard his little fighter self has fought. Xavier was taken into the NicU due to not being able to latch properly for feeding causing him to lose more than a pound weight or keep his body temperature regulated. At this time we dont know how long Xavier will be in the NicU.

With Xaviers certain status Jr and I are asking our friends, family, and loved ones to please help us guide through this hard time. Today I was discharged from UC Davis making me tonleave my baby behind in NicU. We've applied for the Ronald McDonald House but have been placed on a wait list until a room opens with no time frame or guarantee of when a room will be opened. We also applied for their other house they offer, but again they won't have a room until Friday, that cost $60 a night, with also no guarantee to have a room available. Which both houses full our options are to pay for a hotel or travel back and forth, while also caring for our other children during this time and maintaining our home and needs.
