My brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Renee and her husband, traveled to Panama City Beach for one last family vacation as a family of three before welcoming baby Wade into the world. Just two days into their trip, Renee’s water unexpectedly broke at only 32 weeks pregnant. Five days later, they welcomed baby Wade on May 16th at 1:10 am. Wade is doing well overall and is breathing on his own, but due to being born prematurely, he is facing several obstacles that require him to remain in the NICU for the next few weeks. He currently has a feeding tube along with IVs for antibiotics as he continues to grow stronger each day.
At this time, they remain in Panama City Beach, over six hours away from home, while they wait for baby Wade to graduate from the NICU and be healthy enough to travel home. Along with the emotional stress of having a newborn in the NICU, they are also facing unexpected expenses for lodging and traveling back and forth while caring for their 3-year-old son.
We are asking for your help and support during this difficult time. Any donation, big or small, will help ease the financial burden on their family so they can focus fully on baby Wade’s recovery and being together during these critical weeks. Most importantly, we ask for your prayers for Wade’s continued strength and healing.
