Garrett and Jordyn’s lives changed forever last Thursday when their baby girl, Violet, arrived prematurely. Shortly after her birth, Violet was diagnosed with a diaphragmatic hernia and needed urgent surgery to repair the damage. She is now recovering at Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah, where she will need to stay for several weeks as she heals and grows stronger.

During this difficult time, Garrett and Jordyn are doing everything they can to be by Violet’s side. Both parents have had to step away from work to support their newborn, and Jordyn will be using her limited PTO checks to help cover the costs of housing and travel between Reno, NV and Salt Lake City. The financial strain of travel, temporary housing, and mounting medical bills is overwhelming, and the family is facing these challenges while focusing all their energy on Violet’s recovery.

It’s hard for us to ask for help, but this is so important for Garrett, Jordyn, and baby Violet. The funds raised will go directly toward travel, housing, and medical expenses, allowing the Kracke family to stay together and support Violet through her recovery.
