Support for Baby Stetson's Memorial

My young, beautiful niece, Sarina, and Hunter brought into this world two beautiful twin baby boys on September 13, 2024 - Ivan Robert and Stetson Walker. My niece is a young mother who also has an older biological son named Weston Joseph.

Sadly, on Thanksgiving Day, my niece woke and got up to prepare her baby boys their bottles. The house was bustling with grandchildren excited about that holiday meal to come. My nephew's daughter went into the bedroom to see the youngest members of the family and came out of the room holding a lifeless baby. My brother-in-law tried to do CPR and save the baby, but he was gone. Baby Stetson had died in his sleep.

Stetson's mom (Sarina) and father (Hunter) are not in a position to be able to afford a funeral. Both the Goings (Sarina) and Johnson (Hunter) families are grieving this holiday, and neither family has an idea how to say goodbye to such a young, beloved child. I want Baby Stetson's families to be able to mourn and work towards healing without having to worry about how to bury their child/grandchild.

Neither family demands an extravagant funeral but wants to be able to lay Baby Stetson to rest and hold a celebration of life.

It is hard to ask for help, but they truly need it. If you can afford $1, $5 or even pennies, I hope you will consider donating. Anything will help.

12/3/2024 - We were successful in raising the money Sarina Goings and Hunter Johnson needed in order to pay for the funeral home costs and the celebration of life service that will be held on December 14, 2024, at Resting Place Church located at Grand Haven Road. We raised this money through GoFundMe donations. We are no longer accepting donations.

Your help was paramount in helping make this tragedy a little easier to bear.
