Stacy was born on September 7, 2024, and despite the best efforts of the medical team at MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center, she passed away on October 6, 2024, after a brave fight against a rare and complex condition, spondylocostal dysostosis.

Stacy's short life was filled with love and care, and her family, especially her mother, Leidi Lopez, and her father, Erikc Lucas, are now facing the unimaginable pain of losing their precious baby girl. This sudden loss has left the family not only grieving but also facing unexpected financial burdens, including the costs of funeral arrangements and the rising medical expenses from Stacy’s time in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

Funeral expenses and specialized NICU care can be incredibly costly. The goal of this fundraiser is to help alleviate the financial burden on the family, allowing them to focus on healing and grieving during this difficult time.
