I am starting this fundraiser on behalf of my sister, Jailene, for her daughter, Sophia. Recently, Sophia was taken to the doctor after her mother noticed something was wrong. An X-ray revealed that Sophia had an enlarged heart, and her doctor immediately urged Jailene to take her to the hospital that same day. Since then, Sophia’s health has been declining. Just last night, she became tachycardic, showing signs that her heart was struggling and that she might need a heart transplant. Because of this, Sophia had to be transferred to a hospital in Utah that is better equipped to provide the care she needs, including the possibility of a transplant.

This has been an incredibly difficult time for our family. While Jailene stays by Sophia’s side in Utah, Sophia’s father, Sergio, has to remain in Las Vegas to work and support the family. It’s heartbreaking that he can’t be with them during such a critical moment, but the family’s daily needs and bills don’t stop. The costs of medical care, travel, and everyday living expenses are quickly adding up, and it’s more than they can handle alone.

We are asking for any donations to help cover Sophia’s medical bills and the family’s daily living expenses while she is in the hospital.
