Support Noah, Kelsey, and Baby Rylann Noelle

On March 25th, our world changed in an instant. Kelsey was taken by ambulance from Dubuque to Iowa City after going into active labor at just 25 weeks and 3 days pregnant. Upon arrival, doctors immediately began a series of medications to try to stop her contractions and give their baby girl more time. Kelsey bravely endured difficult medical procedures, received steroid shots to help develop her baby’s lungs and protect her brain, and did everything she could to keep her safe.

But little Rylann Noelle had plans of her own.

She made her entrance into the world on March 27th at 6:31 AM, weighing just 2 pounds 3 ounces and measuring 14½ inches long. She is considered a micro preemie, but as her proud Papa Brent says, “she’s just a peanut.”

Rylann was immediately surrounded by the incredible NICU team at the University of Iowa Hospital, and she continues to show everyone just how strong and determined she is. She has already been impressing her doctors and her family with her fighting spirit. This brave little girl will likely remain in the NICU until around her due date of July 5th.

This unexpected journey means Noah and Kelsey will be spending most of their time in Iowa City, away from work and home, while balancing travel, meals, and temporary housing costs. They are currently on a waiting list for the Ronald McDonald House, but until then they are facing ongoing hotel expenses along with everyday bills.

It truly takes a village to raise a child, and right now this young family could use their village. Our hope is to ease the financial stress so they can focus on what matters most — being present for their daughter and supporting each other during this critical time.

We will continue to pray, hope, and stand beside you every step of the way. Rylann Noelle is already surrounded by so much love and strength.
