Support for Baby Ridge’s Medical Journey

Ridge was born on January 9th with a rare birth defect called esophageal atresia, meaning his esophagus did not fully form to connect to his stomach. He underwent surgery shortly after birth to repair it, and the procedure itself was successful. Since then, however, there have been additional complications that have made it unsafe for him to come home. Ridge currently has a feeding tube and will likely go home with one as well. They are also waiting for approval for another surgery to repair his trachea collapsing. That procedure will need to be done out of state, and at this time they are unsure how long recovery will take. It could mean being away from home for several more weeks. This has been incredibly hard on their entire family. They are juggling life between two households, traveling back and forth to the hospital, trying to maintain some sense of normalcy for their two older boys, and spending as much time with them as possible. I know many friends and members of our community have been asking how they can help. With their permission, I’m sharing this as a way for anyone who feels led to support them during this long road ahead. Every contribution will go directly toward travel expenses, lodging, and covering lost income while they focus on Ridge’s recovery. Most of all, please continue to pray for healing, strength, and peace for their entire family as they navigate this new season.
