We are the Family of 3-year-old baby Prince.

By now, many of you have seen the news reports or the heartbreaking Ring camera footage involving my grandson. It is a video that no family should ever have to see. Baby Prince was brutally attacked by a man we considered a longtime family friend—and 29-year-old U.S. Army Sgt. Assigned to the 1stCavalry Division at Fort Hood.

 

We trusted him not only as a friend but as someone who had sworn to protect others. Instead, he used that strength to harm a defenseless 3-year-old. This experience has taught us that no matter how long you know someone, or what their professional background is, you truly never know what they are capable of.

 

While our hearts are shattered, we are incredibly grateful to share that physically, baby Prince is okay. However, the emotional and psychological journey ahead is long.

 

At the time of the incident, he was removed from his home and from his mother’s ear & site. He was taken down two flights of stairs where his screams could not be heard. Baby Prince’s mother is a dedicated, loving mother who would do anything to protect her child, and she is currently devastated by this betrayal of trust.

 

Why we need your help:

 

We are currently rallying around baby Prince and his mom to move them to a safer city/ environment. Our goal is to raise funds to:

 

* Relocate: We need to find a new, secure home where they can feel safe again.

* Counseling: Baby Prince needs specialized trauma counseling to help him process what happened at such a tender age.

* Legal & Transition Costs: Supporting the family as they navigate the aftermath of this investigation and secure baby Prince’s ongoing safety
