On December 4th, 2025, by way of an emergency C-section, my sister and her boyfriend welcomed their baby boy, Oliver, into the world three months earlier than expected. From the very beginning, Oliver has faced challenges no newborn should have to endure.
Since his birth, Oliver has remained in the NICU, where doctors are closely monitoring a brain bleed and treating recently discovered seizures. While his condition is considered stable at this time, each day brings new information, new concerns, and continued uncertainty.
At home, my sister also has two young boys, Carter and Emmett, who still need her love, stability, and care. The family is currently split between Pratt and Wichita, Kansas, making frequent trips back and forth so they can take turns being at the hospital with Oliver while also being present for Carter and Emmett. The constant travel, time away from work, and extended hospital stay have created an overwhelming financial strain.
This fundraiser is meant to help ease that burden by covering travel expenses, medical-related costs, lost income, and basic day-to-day needs, so my sister and her family can focus on supporting Oliver and keeping life as steady as possible for all three boys during this incredibly difficult time.
Any donation, no matter the amount, will make a meaningful difference. If you’re unable to give, sharing this fundraiser is just as appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read Oliver’s story and for supporting their family during this uncertain journey.
