Kassidy and Coby Morden are preparing to welcome their baby girl by June 1st, but their journey into parenthood comes with unexpected challenges. Shortly after birth, Baby Morden will need open heart surgery within the first 24-48 hours of her life, followed by another surgery when she is three to six months old. Both of these critical procedures must take place at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, which means the family will need to relocate from their home to ensure the best care for their daughter.

The medical team has recommended that Kassidy and Coby move to Rochester at 37 weeks, around mid-May, so that Kassidy can deliver the baby safely at the Mayo Clinic. After the birth, the family will remain in Rochester for a few weeks as Baby Morden undergoes surgery and begins her recovery. This journey will require them to be away from home, work, and their support network during an already emotional and stressful time.
