Support for Baby Kaizen Seludo Medical Journey

My name is Maria Seludo. I am starting a gofund me to help my brother Hersian & his wife Precious Seludo, with incoming mounting medical bills, travel and daily costs while tending to their newborn son Kaizen, at the Seattle Children’s Hospital.

The family will stay in Seattle for the unforeseeable future while the doctors figure out a diagnosis and a plan of treatment. Currently, we have more questions than answers, but we are patiently waiting for so many test results and biopsy to give us answers, and some relief. Kaizen has not been able to feed since he was born and is currently being given nutrients through IV until all tests are done.

I’m hoping that with this gofund me, they will not have to worry about incoming medical bills and expenses, so they can solely focus on their baby boy. Any amount of donations, big or small is truly appreciated.

Kaizen was born June 1, 2024. Born two weeks early, he weight 6lbs 5oz. Mommy was a true Warrior who gave birth naturally with no medications, but needed multiple stitches after birth. She is needing to heal after giving birth, but now having to stress about the health of her firstborn son.

Kaizen seemed to be a healthy baby boy. Mommy was doing her best to produce milk and bond with baby. But he kept throwing up everything he consumed. He was losing weight and on day three, Dr. Bhagat decided to take an X-Ray of his stomach. He found an obstruction in his lower intestine and decided to Medevac Mommy & baby to Children’s Hospital on June 3rd.

Hersian (daddy) followed them down to be with his wife and baby. But, Hersian is also needing knee surgery which will require 0 weight on right knee for 6 weeks after the surgery. He’s doing his best to be the pillar for his family, while himself too is injured. Hersian will be having knee surgery as soon as they are able to return home and will be out of work while he heals.

We ask for PRAYERS from our family & friends. We appreciate everyone who’s reached out with support and kind words. We will give updates to baby Kaizen’s progress as we know more. We THANK YOU in advance, for helping our family during this very difficult time.
