On May 16th at 5:12 PM, our dear friends Alyssa Dock and Zachary Hawkins welcomed their beautiful daughter, Juniper Anne, into the world at Henry Ford Health Hospital. Weighing 3lbs 15oz, Juniper is tiny but mighty-3 pounds and 15 ounces of pure perfection.

Shortly after birth, Juniper was intubated. Thankfully, the breathing tube was removed just a few hours later-already showing her strength and fighting spirit. Though she's doing incredibly well and making steady progress, she will need to stay in the NICU for at least two more weeks to continue growing and gaining strength.

At home, her two big sisters-Sage and Ivy- are anxiously waiting to welcome her into their arms.

The NICU nurses describe Juniper as "incredibly feisty" and her progress in just a few days has been nothing short of amazing. This little girl is already showing the world how strong she is.

We're raising funds to support Alyssa and Zachary during this unexpected, emotional, but exciting time. Donations will help cover medical expenses, travel, meals, lost income, and other costs as they focus on being with Juniper and preparing to bring her home.
