Hi everyone,

We’re reaching out during a really difficult season of life — something we never imagined we’d do, but we’re learning that sometimes, asking for help is an act of love too.

Our sweet baby Jaxson was born early due to preeclampsia and spent 79 days in the NICU. Midway through, he was transferred to Phoenix Children’s Hospital, where specialists tried to uncover the cause of his elevated bilirubin levels.

Since birth, he has endured more than most of us could imagine:

•Intubation

•Chest tubes

•Feeding tubes

•Blood transfusions

•Cholangiogram

•Liver biopsies

•Lots and lots of labs and needle pokes

He’s now diagnosed with idiopathic large cell hepatitis, a rare liver condition. Jaxson is currently back in the hospital after another rise in his bilirubin levels. He’s also on an NG feeding tube to help him gain weight, as he faces malabsorption issues related to his liver.

Through all of this, Jaxson continues to be strong — full of smiles, love, and the sweetest spirit. His siblings miss him terribly and just want their baby brother home to play, snuggle, and grow alongside them.

We’re doing everything we can to juggle work, hospital stays, and being present for our other children. But truthfully, with only one car, constant medical visits, and mounting bills, we’re overwhelmed.

We aren’t ones to ask for help — and honestly, it feels a little embarrassing to even write this. But we’re putting pride aside in hopes that, if this touches your heart, you might be willing to support our family in this journey.
