Description: This fundraiser is for my dear friends Summer and Jt Barham, and their precious 5-week-old daughter, Iyla Jo. I met Jt through my husband five years ago, and since then, I’ve watched him marry Summer and welcome their beautiful baby girl into the world. Summer and Jt are incredible parents and cherished friends, and it’s heartbreaking to see them face so many challenges so early in Iyla Jo’s life.

The start of this year has been especially tough for the Barham family. Jt came down with the flu and missed work during Iyla Jo’s first week, which made things even harder as hospital bills began to pile up. On top of that, the cost of formula has been overwhelming, especially as they’ve tried to find one that helps Iyla Jo with her colic. Just this past Friday, Iyla Jo was diagnosed with congenital deformities in her neck and musculoskeletal issues in her skull, neck, and face. She will need therapy to help realign everything, and they are also looking into getting her a helmet to correct her skull. Now, with rent coming due, they’re back in the hospital because Iyla Jo has developed pneumonia. At just five weeks old, she’s already been in and out of the hospital and to more than a dozen doctor’s appointments as her parents do everything they can to help her get healthy and comfortable.

Donations to this fundraiser will go directly toward therapy for Iyla Jo, hospital bills, rent, food for the family, and formula for Iyla Jo.
