Baby Holden

Donation protected
My younger sister Emma is going through a nightmare right now with her newborn baby and I am asking for prayers and support for their family.
Here is the story: A little over a month ago, Emma and her husband Jeff welcomed home their second beautiful baby, Holden Paul. Then, the weekend after Thanksgiving, both he and his 2 year old sister Clementine were sick with cold symptoms. On that Sunday evening, Jeff brought Holden to the ER at Lowell General, where he was diagnosed with RSV and an infection. He had a fever and struggled to breathe. They were able to assist Holden's breathing and monitor him closely, and he seemed to be making improvements at first, but after a couple of days, things took a turn for the worse and he was transferred to Tufts PICU in Boston. While there, Holden's right lung collapsed, and shortly after, he went into respiratory failure and could no longer breathe on his own. He was immediately intubated and sedated and has been so since Friday. The latest is that Holden's lungs are finally starting to look a little better, and his right lung is opening up, but he is still sedated and has a long road of recovery ahead.
This has been very difficult for Emma and Jeff, as they should be home, enjoying these first special weeks with their new family, during the holiday season. Instead, they are spending all of their time in the hospital, watching and waiting helplessly after their sick baby. Clementine has been well cared for by grandparents, but it is difficult for them all to be apart for so long. Jeff comes to the hospital after work, and Emma is there almost 100 percent of the time.
As her sister, I wish I could do something to help. Like me, many friends and family have shown love and support through messages and prayer, but I wanted to create another tangible way we could all help them out right now. The last thing Emma and Jeff should have to worry about as they go through this is any financial burden resulting from this long hospital stay. While they have health insurance, so many extra expenses can add up quickly, like the cost of fuel from driving to and from Boston as well as extra food expenses, eating so many meals out away from home, and probably extra medical bills and more that they aren't even aware of.  They would never ask for anything, but I am asking for any small donation we can bless them with together.  Let's surround this precious family with love and support. Thank you!
