Support for Baby Evanie

Many of you know that Tonea has been a part of my life for over 17 years now.  On September 21st,  she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, Evanie Lee. From the time she was born, Evanie was in and out of the clinic with a fever, and elevated bilirubin levels.  On October 2nd it was discovered that Evanie was suffering from meningitis caused by a virus.  She was life-flighted from Santa Rosa to Stanford, where she was admitted to the NICU.  It was soon found that the virus causing the meningitis had also caused her liver to stop producing the protein necessary to clot her blood, and had affected her kidneys as well.  


Tonea is now trying to manage paying her bills, while living in the NICU to support her tiny fighter.  We have been supporting her all we can, and so many of you have asked how you can help.  I am starting this go fund me to give people a way to send monetary support if you feel so inspired.  If you don’t feel comfortable contributing here, you can Venmo directly to Tonea at Tay Barton (Tay-Barton-1). Tonea can use all the support she can get at this point, and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for the love you have given my girl as this has all unfolded.
