***A Heartfelt Update on Eden's Journey:

We're writing to share a heartfelt update on Eden's progress and the ongoing support she needs. Thanks to your incredible generosity and prayers, Eden has received her stander and AFOs, allowing her to take vital steps towards her independence.

However, we face another significant hurdle. Insurance continues to deny coverage for the safety bed Eden desperately needs. These specialized beds, essential for her safety and comfort, cost around $13,000.

Looking ahead, Eden requires intensive out-of-state therapy programs. Each program costs thousands of dollars, and she needs three in 2024 alone.

Additionally, regular consultations with her specialists in St. Louis necessitate frequent travel expenses.

While insurance covers some costs, it unfortunately leaves a substantial gap. We humbly ask for your continued support, whether it be a small donation or a shared prayer. Every contribution helps us bridge the financial gap and ensure Eden receives the critical care she deserves.

Dear Friends, Family, and Well-Wishers,

We hope this message finds you well!

We are writing with a heavy heart, as the lives of Meg and Richard Anderson took an unexpected turn recently. Their precious daughter, Eden, has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy, hip dysplasia, a visual processing disorder, as well as cognitive issues they will only discover further as she grows. It's all very overwhelming, but they are committed to doing everything they can to provide Eden with the best care possible to ensure she lives a fulfilling life.

As Meg & Richard are finding out, Eden's care involves frequent medical appointments, therapy sessions, and various other expenses that are, frankly, financially and emotionally overwhelming. The Andersons are traveling to St. Louis every three months to consult with specialists, which means hotel stays for each visit. The specialized intensive therapy alone costs thousands, not including the additional travel and lodging funding to get there. She will also have to go through a specialized eye surgery that is not fully covered by insurance.

Eden will also eventually have to use a stander and a walker as she grows. The pieces of equipment are big and bulky, but will be essential for her to be mobile. Unfortunately, these are not made to fit through apartment doors and do not fit in Meg and Richard's current car. To accommodate Eden's needs in and out of the home, they will be needing to purchase a larger vehicle and to move from their apartment into a larger and more accommodating home home for Eden's needs.

As you might know, Meg had to leave her job due to pregnancy complications and will now need to stay home to fully care for Eden. Being a now single-income household, the Andersons are struggling to cover these costs in addition to regular medical bills, genetic testing, specialized medical equipment, and more.

The Andersons understand completely that times are tough for everyone right now, and they are so humbled by the love they've received so far in the wake of these new challenges. Your support, whether big or small, can make an incredible difference in Eden's life. By helping to alleviate the upcoming financial burdens, Meg and Richard can have the peace f mind to focus solely on Eden's well-being.
