Support for Baby Dallas

Our hearts are heavy after learning that our colleagues, Brett and Heather Neville, two of the nicest and most genuine people, have had their lives turned upside down. Their 2 year old daughter, Dallas, became sick earlier this week with what they thought was a slight cold. When they went to wake her the next morning after letting her sleep later to get more rest, they found her unresponsive. The Nevilles immediately went to the ER, and after being tested all day and night, they found Dallas was positive for the Rhinovirus, Paraflu and 2 additional viruses. They saw no improvement, so she was airlifted to the UNC Hospital. Dallas, Heather, and Brett are now at UNC indefinitely as Dallas is suffering from Necrotizing Encephalopathy. We want Heather and Brett to have all their focus on Dallas, singing by her bedside, making a game plan with her doctors and comforting each other in the meantime. We can’t make all of Dallas' pain go away, but we can help ease the financial burden and resultant stress that Heather and Brett are facing.
