My name is Ally and I am Cooper's mom! Cooper was born 31 weeks premature on Thanksgiving. We chose to do a C-section because they said if we waited, there would be a huge risk of stillbirth, but they also said he might not make it 5 minutes after the C-section. We chose to do the C-section because we wanted to meet our baby. He was born with a lot of complications, including fetal hydrops and a heart defect. The fetal hydrops is around his stomach, heart, and his head. The heart defect is when your heart pumps blood to the body; it squeezes the heart to pump it, but his heart has a very, very weak squeeze, so he currently has machines helping him breathe and tracking all his vitals to make sure he stays stable.
We currently could use all the help we can get since we are staying up here with him and we are 3 hours away from home but we want to be here to see him every day and be right here if anything happens to him. We have been up here since November 25th and they said he will for sure be up here until he is full term or longer depending on how he is doing at 40 weeks. As everyone knows living expense’s and medical bills are a stressful situation so any help we can get would be a blessing. I know everyone is going through hard times, so if you can't donate, please share! Thank you all for listening, and message me for updates if you are interested in how Cooper is doing.
Merry Christmas❤️
