Support Baby Callum & Family

17 years ago my wife and I were the witnesses at the wedding of Danny and Catherine.  They were a young couple so in love,  and have the most amazing positive attitude I had ever seen.  Over the years they had 4 children and lived in a 2 bedroom apartment.  Building a great family.  9 months ago in 2015 baby #5 ,  Callum came along.   Callum was born with down syndrome and the family came to love him as the amazing gift he was.

On , Dec.14, callum came down with a high fever, and Catherine new something was very wrong when the normal care did not relieive it in 2 days.  She took him to the children's hospital in Montreal and he has been there since with a very high fever due to  a blood infection.  They do not know the cuase at this time.  The doctors have revived him twice , and he has had many blood clots that have caused his limbs to lose circulation.  He will most likely need to have his toes and possibly legs amputated this coming week. ( UPDATE:  on Dec.30 Callum had both his legs amputated just below the knees)

We are raising funds so that Danny can stay off work to be with and care for his family with Catherine during this very difficult time.
