On October 20 2024 our daughter gave birth to the most beautiful and perfect baby we could have ever imagined. Getting him into this world was not easy our daughter suffered a number of complications including an emergency c section and she stayed in the hospital for a week. When she finally came home we thought the worst was over and we were enjoying every second of watching her and her boyfriend start their little family. He was the sweetest baby. He brought so much love and joy into our family and he brought us all together. Tragically on the morning of November 2, 2024 due to medical reasons we do not know of right now he stopped breathing. After several attempts to save his life and the tireless efforts of the NICU team at Texas Children’s Hospital, our Alejandro passed away in his parent’s arms. He was 12 days old and he is now our angel. No one could have anticipated this tragedy and unfortunately now we are tasked with giving him a proper funeral and burial. We are asking our family and friends to contribute anything that they can and if nothing else please pray for our family to heal from this experience. Watching our children lose their child was an insufferable ordeal and outliving our grandchild is even worse.
