Support for Babette in Memory of Joe

On the morning of June 23rd my father, Joe Jackson, passed away unexpectedly at 59. I started this GoFundMe to help raise funds for my mother, Babette Jackson, to help her with bills or anything she may need at this time as we figure out what to do going forward. Sean and I are helping her any way we can as well. We know that everyone wants to pay their respects in a service/viewing, however I’m sure anyone who knew my dad knew how many friends he had. When we were kids wherever we went someone knew him and we’d always hear “is that Joe Jackson”. He was like a local celebrity and not just to everyone else but Sean and I thought the world of him and so did his grandkids. We also have a very large family, his brother Kevin and my aunt Carolyn, his sister Kim, all of our cousins which I were to type that would take forever, it would be no stretch to say that there would be hundreds of people in attendance and we wouldn’t be able to accommodate such a large crowd and instead we’re going to have a small BBQ for only our close family. We wish we could do something for everyone to be involved but sadly that won’t be possible. Thank you to everyone who has reached out to my mother and to my brother and myself during this time and helping us get through this. Family was everything to my father and he was a religious man so I know he’s up there with his dad and mom, his brother Ray, and all the other amazing people he lost smiling knowing how everyone has come together for us right now and supported not just us but each other.
