Support for Aylla and Her Family
We are reaching out for support to help our beloved Aylla and her family during an incredibly challenging time. Aylla, who was born with the rare condition STXBP1 and epileptic encephalopathy, has faced significant neurological and mobility issues throughout her life. Over the past six years, she has been in and out of hospitals, often traveling from Wagga Wagga to Sydney for specialist appointments and treatments.
Sadly, in the last year, Aylla's condition has deteriorated. She has also been diagnosed with osteoporosis and has developed respiratory illnesses, adding to the complexity of her health struggles. Aylla has recently been airlifted to Randwick Children's Hospital ICU for the second time in two months to fight a serious infection.
As a result, my sister, Stephanie, and her partner, Jack, are currently away from their home and children in Wagga Wagga to be by Aylla's side. They are facing significant emotional and financial stress during this time. The cost of medical treatments, travel, and being away from home is overwhelming, especially as my sister will likely be spending Christmas in the hospital with Aylla, separated from the rest of the family.
We are asking for any support, big or small, to help alleviate the financial burden on Stephanie and her family. Every donation will make a massive difference and will allow them to focus on being there for Aylla without the added worry of medical and domestic costs. Your generosity will be deeply appreciated, and we are incredibly grateful for any help during this difficult time.
Thank you for your kindness and support.
