Hello, my name is Ajuwe. I am reaching out today to you guys to help me. On 10/14/2025 at 7:50 pm, my husband Avery was hit off his bike, but he wasn’t just hit; he was thrown off his bike, leaving him to fight for his life. I sat at the side of his bed till 10/18/2025, watching him fight. He could not overcome the damaged organs, the broken bones, the swelling of his brain. I couldn’t even recognize my husband; he was so badly hurt. At 28 years old, a father, husband, brother, and son was killed, leaving me, his wife, and 3 boys 2,7 and 12 questioning life, lost, defeated, and scarred. And an empty home that’s missing the bricks that created it.
For all those who know Avery, y'all know how he was giving and receiving, helping the whole neighborhood. He worked and would come home and work for the community. He has lost his life in that same community that he poured into day and night. Our kids birthday our in a week and I just had to give them the most horrible news a child can hear. Living some many with the unthinkable question “why”.
I need your help. Anything you can give just to help me. I am a stay-at-home mother, and I have nothing. I depended on him, and he was taken from us in the blink of an eye, leaving me no time to prepare for doing it on my own or even paying to bury my husband. Please help and thank you for taking the time just to read my story if you couldn’t help because I needed someone to listen. A date has not been set for his funeral yet because we are trying to raise the money
