I am asking for prayer and support for the Dill family as they enter the seventh year of Ava’s courageous battle with cancer. For those unfamiliar with their story, Ava was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma in April 2019 at just five years old. Against all odds—and to the amazement of her medical team—Ava survived a 18-hour surgery to remove the tumor, has endured multiple rounds of chemo, radiation, and immunotherapy. Not to mention numerous setbacks and relapses.

The money is secondary. What the Dill's desperately want and need is PRAYER so please PRAY FIRST.

Cancer has taken an enormous toll, not only on Ava, but on the entire Dill family—Mom Shannon, Dad Jeremy, and big brothers Conner and Caden—robbing them of a “normal” life and replacing it with constant uncertainty and emotional exhaustion.

The Dills, especially Ava, are weary and discouraged.

Physically, Ava is struggling. She completed her most recent treatments a few months ago, following the detection of a new tumor in her chest that was blocking her airway and causing complications with breathing. This latest treatment protocol was especially hard on her. She will begin a new treatment protocol soon, and we are all praying she regains her strength and that we see her spunky spirit return. Right now, she is achy, nauseous, and extremely weak—so weak that she is often carried from place to place and spends much of her time in bed. Typical tween activities are simply too much for her.

I am asking for donations to offer the Dill family some relief and much-needed respite—and, most importantly, HOPE. After years of treatments, medical bills have compounded despite insurance coverage.

Cancer is cruel. Devastatingly cruel. If having to deal with watching your child suffer and endure years of treatment wasn't enough they have had several major home repairs and setbacks. Compounded with the medical bills they are fighting an uphill battle with some significant debt. I would like nothing more than for us to come together to relieve the financial burden for them so they can focus on much needed time together as a family.

The Dills are one of the hardest-working families I know. Jeremy works full-time in his corporate job and also takes on a second job most evenings and weekends to help make ends meet. Shannon works part-time while also homeschooling Ava and their youngest son. Right now, they need the freedom to focus on Ava and spend time together as a family.
