There are moments in life that no parent is ever prepared to face. Dean and Holly Warner are living through one of those moments as they sit by the bedside of their 16-year-old daughter, Ava, who is on life support in the Pediatric ICU at UK Hospital in Lexington, KY.

The Warner’s are hands-on, loving parents who pour their lives into their children and into the work they do together as a family. They own and operate a small family farm and building business—work that reflects their values of faith, hard work, and caring for others. Their children are their greatest joy, and they are raising them with deep love, strong faith, and close family bonds.

Alongside their daughter in the hospital, they are also caring for their three other children— Sam, Brielle and Jacob—who are facing the unimaginable uncertainty of possibly losing their sister. This family has leaned on their faith for strength, prayer, and hope, trusting God moment by moment as doctors continue to provide care. They remain surrounded by prayers and love.
