Hi I'm Beverly, Autumn’s mother.

I am asking support for my daughter Autumn Harry. She is Numu and a member of the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe. Just recently, she had an MRI which confirmed two bulging discs and a herniated disc on her lumbar spine, causing uncomfortable pain in her leg and back. She has not slept well for the past few months and can only sleep in a recliner or surrounded by littered pillows. Since going through physical therapy, massages, chiropractic relief; her walking is still debilitated. She received an epidural injection a couple weeks ago but it hasn’t helped to the degree we had hoped. A surgery is planned next week on Thursday.

Autumn is the spirit of her community. She is an avid hiker, fly fisherwoman, activist, artist, muralist, good listener and pup lover. From building community gardens, fishing for elders and doing mutual aid, she brings advocacy to areas where it is needed including Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women Girls, Women, and Two -Spirit relatives (MMIWGR2S).

This money will be used to support her healing, medical visits, and alleviate any other financial strain. We want to make sure she gets back on the trail to reconnect her spirit to the mountains and to the waters. Her recuperation will take 6-8 weeks.
