Today, I learned that my beloved son, Austin Washington, passed away after being swept away in a high tide on Lake Morganton, NC, yesterday evening. Austin was a wonderful son—loving, caring, and always bringing joy to our family with his handsome smile. He was an incredible drummer for Lincolnton County High School and had just graduated from Lincolnton High School on May 23, 2026. Austin loved his siblings and me deeply, and his presence filled our lives with warmth and happiness.

This sudden loss has left our family heartbroken and facing unexpected challenges. We are reaching out for support to help cover Austin's funeral costs, cremation, and other immediate needs.
