We just received news that my aunt passed away last night.

The story is that my aunt is here in the US and she requested that we send her remains back to the Philippines.

As you may know, the cost here in the US for funeral arrangements and cremations can be significant, but this case has the added cost of shipping her ashes back home and dealing with the added cost of bureaucracy and kickbacks.
