I have no legal authority over her insurance. I cannot get a niece to sign. She cannot make decisions without her spouse, thereby holding up Aunt Bernetta Hux's funeral. Now we must pay cash, due to the State of Maryland and due to the lack of cooperation on niece Nikki Lawson's part, refusing to sign for her mom, but she is her mom's, Carolyn Hux, power of attorney. Her brother Garland Hux has signed and was very cooperative. I have not been able to connect with her third sibling, Reginald Hux. We only had one family member to sign, Garland Hux. He and his daughter Karen Handy Thornton have been very supportive to us. We want to thank them from the bottom of our hearts.
