My little cousin has always worked so hard to take care of her daughter, Aubrey. Recently, while she was at work, Aubrey was attacked by a dog and is now in the children's hospital at GMC. She has already undergone 18 hours of surgery and will need more to reconstruct her eye. The road ahead for both of them is long and uncertain, and it’s been heartbreaking to watch such a strong little girl go through so much.

With Aubrey in the hospital, my cousin has to miss work to be by her side and travel back and forth to Danville. This means extra expenses for rent, food, gas, and anything else they might need, all while she’s unable to earn her usual income. I want to help ease some of the burden so she can focus on helping Aubrey heal, without worrying about how to make ends meet.

This is such a tragic accident and heartbreaking to see little Aubs go through this, but she’s a strong little girl. I understand times are tough for anyone and appreciate any donation to this family but if you can’t, all we ask for is thoughts and prayers for an easy recovery for Aubrey.
