Aubrey Hunter is my best friend and soul sister. Four weeks ago, she received the devastating news that she has Stage 4 Metastatic Adenocarcinoma, which has spread to her liver. While doctors are still working to pinpoint the exact site of origin, current tests suggest it may be Cholangioracrinoma, a rare and aggressive bile duct cancer. In early March, Aubrey and her husband will be traveling from Rapid City, SD to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, seeking the best possible care and answers.


Aubrey is no stranger to fighting tough battles—she beat cancer once before at just 14 years old. Her strength and resilience have always inspired those around her. Now, as she faces this new challenge, the financial burden of travel, lodging, and unexpected expenses adds to the stress of her diagnosis.


Aubrey has always been a loving, caring, and genuine lady. As a nurse, she has dedicated her life to helping others. As a wife, mom, grandma, and friend to so many, she is a bright ray of sunshine and love. Her inner strength and tenacity will help her in the upcoming battle, but she and her family need our support now more than ever.
