My sister's family is facing an unimaginable loss. Her 11 year old daughter, Athena Lyons was tragically caught in the White River current while playing at Mill Race Park and drowned, leaving the family heartbroken and struggling to cope with the emotional and financial challenges that come with such a sudden tragedy. It goes without saying that losing her has turned our world upside down. Her mother, Annessia King is a nurse who works full time and has two more children to look after. The community has been amazingly loving and supportive and many people are still reaching out wondering how they can help.
