Turner Family -

One of our own, Izzy Astudillo, recently experienced a devastating electrical fire at his family’s home in the middle of the night. Izzy thanks God that he, his wife Iris, and their two sons—Michael (16) and Alexander (10)—all made it out safely, but the damage to their home was extensive.

Since the fire on January 4th, Izzy and his family have been living in a hotel while their insurance company assesses the situation. They are expected to be displaced for the next three to four months as they work to rebuild and recover.

Many of you may know Izzy from his 23 years with Northstar (and then Select Demolition) before he joined Turner five months ago as the Labor Foreman on the Yale Wright Lab project. He has long been a familiar, friendly, and dedicated presence on our projects, and now he needs our support.

While insurance will help cover some costs, as we all know, there are many expenses it does not. This fundraiser is an opportunity for our Turner community to come together and help ease the burden on Izzy and his family during this incredibly challenging time. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference and remind them they are not facing this alone.
