Support for Ashley, Mike, and Jameson

UPDATE: Thank you to everyone that has supported Mike and Ashley through this tough time. It is with a heavy heart that I have to inform you that sweet Ashley gained her wings on Saturday. Please continue to pray for Mike, Jameson, their family and friends as they figure out how to maneuver through life without Ashley.    

Ashley was hospitalized with Covid just a week after giving birth to her son, Jameson. Unfortunately her body is having quite a hard time fighting off this illness and tonight she had to be transferred to a hospital down south for more advanced Covid care (ECMO treatment specifically).  It is her best shot at survival right now but it will be extremely costly. 

 

Because Mike started a new job just a couple of months ago he doesn’t qualify for FMLA and has exhausted any PTO he has accrued.  Their medical insurance is through his employer so he’ll need to continue working so that his insurance doesn’t lapse. 

 

Friends and family have asked how they can help. This is one way! All donations will go directly to Mike to help with their medical, travel, and lodging expenses. Please consider donating. This will help ease some of the financial burden put on my brothers family as he juggles being his wife’s support system/decision maker while she fights for her life, taking care of their 3 week old son, and manage to continue working. 

 

And please send prayers up for Ashleys speedy recovery.  Jameson needs his momma home asap.
