Support for Ashley and Matt Patterson

As many of you know Ashley has had a long battle with Lupus for most of her life. After 7 years in remission she had a serious relapse in November 2018 and has been in and out of the hospital since. On February 28th she was readmitted with kidney failure compounded with internal bleeding in her lungs. She is currently receiving treatment at the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon with a team of specialists working towards stabilizing her condition.
Matt and Ashley reside in Prince Albert and Matt has been travelling to and from the hospital in Saskatoon to be by Ashely’s side, this has resulted in a large amount of out of-pocket expenses and the emotional stress has been very overwhelming.
To make matters worse, on March 3rd, Matt returned home to Prince Albert to find out that their apartment complex had caught fire leaving their place with significant smoke and water damage rendering them without a home. Not only were their personal belongings destroyed, thousand of dollars worth of Ashely’s Lupus medications was lost. The only blessing was Matt, Ashley and their three pets were not harmed during this ordeal.
While they have had the love and support from their friends and family, financial support is greatly needed. We have created a GoFundMe page to show our support in hopes to assist them in getting them back up on their feet – every little bit helps and is appreciated more than you know.
