It is with profound sadness that we share the heartbreaking news of the untimely passing of Arun Daniel, a beloved 29-year-old member of our community, in St. Catharines, Niagara Region, Canada.

Arun came to Canada in 2018 with dreams of a brighter future. He pursued his studies at Lambton College in Sarnia, where he worked tirelessly to achieve his goals. After graduating, he moved to Niagara Falls in 2022 for a promising career in the banking sector. Arun was known for his calm demeanor, hardworking nature, and ever-present smile—a beacon of positivity to everyone around him. He touched the lives of many with his warmth, kindness, and willingness to help, always greeting others with infectious positivity.

Arun was deeply dedicated to social work and was always there for his friends, just a phone call away. His compassionate nature made him a pillar of support to everyone around him. Despite all his achievements and the life he built here, Arun had a deep longing to reunite with his family in Kerala, India.

Arun leaves behind two younger siblings who are still studying and searching for job opportunities. His sudden passing has left his family not only in grief but also facing uncertain times as they navigate this tragic loss without his support.

It is incredibly painful that Arun had been preparing to visit his family soon, a reunion he had eagerly awaited for years, but fate intervened. He never had the chance to return home and embrace his parents, leaving his family and friends in unimaginable grief.

We now seek your support to fulfill his family’s wish to bring Arun home to Kerala, where they can lay him to rest. The costs for repatriation, including airfare, funeral arrangements, and necessary documentation, are substantial. Additionally, we hope to provide financial support to his grieving family during this difficult time.

Our initial goal is to raise $50,000 to cover these expenses. This appeal is made on behalf of his family by Arun’s cousin, Mr. Sreejith Bhaskaran. Every contribution, no matter the amount, will ease their burden and show them they are surrounded by love and compassion during this heart-wrenching time.
