It’s been very difficult to find the words to express how I feel at the moment. Losing my Dad, Arturo, has been the most painful thing l've ever experienced in my life. He wasn't just my father; he was my role model, my protector, and someone I could always depend on. My Dad had a way of making everyone feel loved and taken care of. He was a selfless man and would give his last dollar to others. He worked hard for our family and always put us first. Everything I am today is because of my Dad. I'm going to carry his values and love with me for the rest of my life. This has been an incredibly difficult time for our family.
