My husband Arturo is a loving father of three and a pillar in our community, always ready to lend a hand at our children's schools and to neighbors in need. Over the past year, he has been bravely battling stage 4 cancer. Despite his efforts to seek help, he was turned away multiple times and did not receive the care he desperately needed until recently, when a compassionate doctor finally took his pain and symptoms seriously.

Arturo's diagnosis has changed our lives in so many ways. He is unable to work, and I have had to take time off from my job to care for him and manage our household.
